The BC Team reviewed the request for the open source data compressor utilities bunzip2 and bzip2 recently, and collectively, agreed to add these two capabilities to the list of utilities in BC policy FY06-19 (Common Set of Open Source Utilities). An updated version of BC policy FY06-19, including bunzip2 and bzip2, will be released on the BC Web site very soon.
