UNIX Groups on Each Computer Per Allocation

Status

On May 8, 2009, pIE announced intention to implement UAG/BC recommendation to create UNIX groups associated with 1) subprojects, 2) projects, and 3) independent of subprojects and projects.

The implementation will be carried out in the following three distinct phases:

Phase 1: UNIX groups associated with a subproject (targeted for v2.7/July 2009)
Phase 2: UNIX groups associated with a project (target TBD)
Phase 3: UNIX groups projects/subprojects independent (target TBD)
