Obtaining a Log File with KRB5
Step 1: Open the KRB5 application by clicking on the “krb5” icon on your desktop, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2: Click on File > Options, as shown in Figure 2.

Step 3: Validate that your Options appear as shown in Figure 3.
Step 3a: If they do not, click the “Attempt PKINIT” checkbox.
Step 3b: Enter the name of the log file in the box labeled “Log File.” Suggested title: krb5logfile.txt
Step 3b: Click the “OK” button.

Step 4: Attempt login again.
If step 4 fails, move to step 5.
Step 5: Go to the computer’s search function.
Step 5a: Enter the title of the log file.
Step 5b: Click “Search.”
Step 6: E-mail the log file to the CCAC technician.
